NAVIGABLE ROUTE
With the next opening of the link between the Navicelli Canal and the Arno River (Inlet) – which has been buried to this day because of the bombings during the Second World War – a completely navigable water triangle will be completed; it consists of the Port of Livorno, Pisa and the tourist Port of Marina di Pisa. Such an infrastructure means a significant step forward for the growth of the territory: Pisa, Seafaring Republic in ancient times, will witness the reopening of the ancient shipway which will enhance first of all the tourist industry and secondly the freight.
